    California has its own marketplace: Covered California. You enroll there, not on HealthCare.gov.

  2. Mid-February

    Form 1095-A arrives

    It arrives by mail by mid-February, and it may be in your Marketplace account as early as mid-January.

  3. By April 15

    We use it in your tax return

    It squares the help you got to pay for your insurance. Without the 1095-A your return can't be finished.
